Saturday, August 28th, to Saturday, October 16th, 10 – 11:30 am . Classes meet weekly.** (see below)

Aspiring actors will learn to develop techniques to help discover the living truth of the characters by navigating the richness of the text and exploring the inner lives and the forces that drive them. Three of the main emphases of this course will be:

o Scene Analysis

o Creative Collaboration with Scene Partners

o Making Adventurous Choices

Requirements: Students are required to have had previous acting experience. Ages 14-17.

Instructor: Rhonda Goldstein has been a theatre educator for more than 25 years, working with every grade level from elementary school to university. She holds a BA in Theatre Communications from Emerson College and an MA in Theatre from Villanova University where she focused on dramatic literature and directing. Rhonda has been recognized with best director and acting awards and was twice awarded excellence in achievement in theatre education. Rhonda is a proud associate member of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC).

**Please note that there will be no class on Saturday, September 4th. A make up class will be held on Saturday, October 9th, from 11:30 – 1 pm directly following the scheduled 10 – 11:30 pm class.
